Wedding vows.
If you’re keen to avoid faux pas like Rowan Atkinson’s Reverend character in Four Weddings and a Funeral did when he said “awfully bedded wife” instead of lawfully wedded wife, why not write your own vows.
Be meaningful and funny, but above all be short.
While your guests are super keen to see you tie the knot, they’re probably more super keen to get into the bubbles and celebrate the fact instead.
Some thoughts:
When did you first meet?
How did you get together?
When did you realise she/he was the one?
What little details make you smile when you think of him/her?
Why are you getting married?
What does it mean to you?
What promises do you want to make for a happy marriage?
